Game Summary   
The Orioles scored 3 runs in the top of the tenth 
inning, and held off an Athletics rally to win 12-
11.  Mike Jackman (2 hits) led off the 10th with a 
single, Kevin Morris (2Runs) followed with a walk, 
and Larry Leen (3RBI's) doubled to score both 
runners.  Jake Miller (3hits) scored Leen with an RBI 
single.
The Orioles got 6 great innings from starter Jason 
Johnson (2ER, 5H) but he didn't get the decision.  
Mark Jackman pitched the final 3 innings - and held 
off the tough Athletics attack to pick up the win in 
his first appearance of the year.
The Orioles led 7-4 until the Athletics scored 5 runs 
in the bottom of the 7th.  McElveen (2 hits) homered, 
Penn, Welty (3 hits) doubled, Pzrnell, Bowers 
(3hits), Perkins, J. Rupczyk (4 hits) all contributed 
to the rally.
The Orioles scored 2 in the top of the 8th to tie the 
game at 9.  Kevin Morris led off with a single, Mark 
Jackman (2 hits) followed with a double, Larry Leen 
knocked Morris in, and Jake Miller singled Jackman in.
